About Me and schnoodles....
I have been breeding dogs since 1991. I began breeding and showing Jack Russell Terriers. I have owned and bred many champions and also grand champions and well as royal show winners. I enjoyed much success with my Jack Russell's including having the number 1 and 2 Jack Russell Terrier in 1999 the year my first son was born, both of these dogs had been bred by me. During this time I was involved and was part of the Jack Russell Terrier Club of Victoria. I also completed many education coarses run by the VCA over the next 10 years including: Responsible Dog Ownership, Ethical and Responisble Breeding, Basic Stewarding Coarse, How to breed a better dog: from a vets point of view. I have also owned various breeds over my life including: Soft-Coated Weaten Terrier, Australia Shepherd, Australian Cattle Dogs (Blue Heelers). I loved my Jack Russell's because they were very loyal and loving and highly intelligent. They were great mousers which was great because I have spent a lot of time living in rural locations and with having horses and horse feed this always seems to attract them. However they were also very bold and courageous which meant they would have a go at a snake, often to there own demise. They were also a great family dog and provided great company to my only son. So when I met my current husband and although he loved the dogs he did not love the hair and it seemed that my beloved Jack Russell's were to go. With the passing of my last Jack Russell, I began a search for a breed that would capitivate me as the Jack Russell's had, yet without the hair !!! Then purely by chance we came upon the person selling our lovely boy Treacle and there was Mattie and now Bubbles to. They are so loving they follow my every step and keep me company during the day when I sleep alone in my bed, I would have said there wasn't another breed for me if you had asked me 15 years ago, but these lovely dogs have surely changed my mind !! I have now gone back to breeding to share my love of this breed with others. I am blown away by the feed back I get from my new puppy owners and their love of their new pup/breed too. Although I may not be breeding champions anymore as this breed is not registered with the ANKC. I know it is better than any broad sash ribbon to hear about my puppies with their new families, their happy stories and photos of their new growing family member. This is why I try to fit the personality of the puppy with the family and I know it will be a long and happy relationship.
